As per the terms of the Owner Agreement You must change the CTP class to class 4 – hire car (passenger vehicle and utility), and can be changed by contacting your QLD CTP provider.

You’ll also need to change the registration of your vehicle and its Purpose of Use. Visit the QLD Department of Transport & Main Roads and complete a Charge of Vehicle Particulars Notification (Form F3524).
