Refuelling

Bay Islands Car Share always pays for the petrol, but we rely on you to fill up. Every car has a fuel card, which you use to pay on our account. If the tank falls below 1/2 full during your booking, you need to refuel it.​

How to use the Fleet Card

  1. Each car has a fuel card matching its number plate in the glovebox. 

  2. If the tank falls below 1/2 full during your travel you need to fill it up. 

  3. Stop at one of the major fuel retailers shown below.  Fleetcard fuel cards are accepted at 90% of outlets. 

  4. Fill the tank to full with lowest cost fuel available suitable for that vehicle

  5. Swipe the Fleetcard at the register to pay. 

  6. NO PIN REQUIRED. When/if the terminal asks for a PIN or an odometer reading, press the green “OK” button to skip.

  7. Discard receipt. Clip fuel card back to instructions.
